Political infrastructure
The spine and neck of the political form through which power is distributed.
Structure means the intensity of repetition. A constantly occurring incidence in society is the need to decide on behalf of polity what to do. Hence, at the base of the political form we find the locus of decision, that is occupied and maintained by government. From government flows a command structure and decisions on who shall manage decisions and where, i.e., jurisdiction. Larger polities employ a system of law in order to manage decisions on behalf of polity. Here judges are given authority to pass sentences in reference to law. Concerning administration of decisions on behalf of the political form and its municipalities likewise, authority may be distributed through offices. This can lead to bureaucratization. Political institutionalization requires an element of dispatching commissaries, where individuals or groups are commissioned to mold or instigate institutions. When we speak of development of political form, for instance state-building, the political infrastructure is the fundamental element in such enterprise, from where flows the actualization of intent.
